The U.S. Department of Agriculture is promoting "Team
Nutrition nutrition, study of the materials that nourish an organism and of the manner in which the separate components are used for maintenance, repair, growth, and reproduction. Nutrition is achieved in various ways by different forms of life. " as part of the 50th anniversary of the National School
Lunch Program.
Team Nutrition provides schools with access to innovative
educational and technical resources involving students and parents in
nutrition education at home and school.
