The book is well written and nicely illustrated. The authors have chosen not to reference their work, but they have included extensive list of additional reading at the end of each chapter.

Although this book is an appropriate reference for physical therapy practitioners who work with men and women in sports and who must counsel on fitness and nutrition, it would be of marginal value Marginal value is a term widely used in economics, to refer to the change in economic value associated with a unit change in output, consumption or some other economic choice variable.  to those in general practice.
