.PK) announced the launch of 3 OmegasT, a unique essential fatty acid
Essential fatty acids, or EFAs, are fatty acids that cannot be constructed within an organism from other components (generally all references are to humans) by any known chemical pathways; and therefore must be obtained from the diet.

According to Don Rader, chief research scientist, "3 OmegasT contains a unique combination of EFAs, essential in maintaining a healthy heart and circulatory system and in maintaining normal blood glucose and cholesterol levels." He added, "3 OmegasT offers a rich supply of omega 3, 6 and 9, three of the fatty acids most commonly associated with these health issues."

Available in bulk oil and free-flowing 80-mesh powder, the bulk oil is packed in 180kg drums and the powder is shipped in 25kg cartons.

The 3 OmegaT Powder utilizes NPRI's proprietary O2PT Oil-to-Powder process. Rader stated that the O2PT process converts most edible oils, gels or pastes into a free-flowing, 80-mesh powder while preserving the nutritional value and chemical structure of the base material. The O2PT process does not rely on traditional techniques that utilize heat (spray-drying), micro-encapsulation or freeze-drying. This facilitates food supplement and nutrient marketing companies creating functional foods and nutraceuticals by adding antioxidants Antioxidants
