Nutraceutix Issues Clarification To Press Release Citing Rite Aid and drugstore.com.

Nutraceutix Inc. (NYSE: RAD) (PSE: RAD) of Camp Hill, Pa., and drugstore.com of Bellevue, Wash., and their involvement with Nutraceutix.

In the release, Nutraceutix stated that Rite Aid and drugstore.com were parties to a licensing agreement signed by General Nutrition Corp. (GNC) to market Nutraceutix' patented Calcium D-Glucarate.

While GNC is a party to the agreement, Rite Aid and drugstore.com are not. The products will be marketed solely by GNC, although they may be sold in GNC stores located within Rite Aid stores and online at the GNC Live Well store on drugstore.com.

In addition, it was erroneously stated that GNC is listed on Nasdaq under the symbol GNCI, which has not been the case since its purchase by Royal Numico N.V., a global leader in specialized nutrition products.
