Proteomics has the potential to revolutionize the development of clinical diagnostics and pharmaceutical therapeutics. Acquisition of Bio Therapeutics brings Nutra Pharma closer to understanding the activity of protein systems and the underlying characteristics of disease and wellness.

Nutra Pharma Corp. (OTCBB:NPHC) announced today that it has completed its acquisition of 100 percent of the capital stock of Bio Therapeutics Inc. Bio Therapeutics shareholders will receive one share of Nutra Pharma common stock for every share of Bio Therapeutics common stock.

"The acquisition of Bio Therapeutics Inc. gives Nutra Pharma a strong patent portfolio, effective drug delivery mechanisms and a host of drug candidates to build upon," said Dr. Harold Crews, Nutra Pharma's Chief Executive Officer. "We will focus on completing clinical trials for our Multiple Sclerosis drug, licensing our patented drug delivery mechanisms and monetizing our patented peptide-altering platform technologies," he added.

Bio Therapeutics' 19 years of work in the field of protein pharmaceutical development adds to Nutra Pharma's growing portfolio of drug and therapeutic candidates. The focus on protein-based drugs is due to the fact that proteins regulate the activities of cells, tissues, organs and interactions between them that trigger chemical reactions This is the 18th episode of television drama Men in Trees. Proteomics aims to identify and characterize the proteins present in normal and diseased biological samples, enabling researchers to design new drugs and treatments.

Bio Therapeutics' research has yielded a breakthrough class of therapeutic peptides collectively referred to as "Immunokines." This patented peptide technology has created new opportunities for the relief and treatment of a variety of devastating dev·as·tate
