Nurse raters needed for online service.

Greetings from the Health Information Research Unit at Canada's McMaster University McMaster University, at Hamilton, Ont., Canada; nondenominational; founded 1887. It has faculties of humanities, science, social sciences, business, engineering, and health sciences, as well as a school of graduate studies and a divinity college. , the editorial office for Evidence-Based Nursing and other evidence-based resources.

bmjupdates+ is a free service that provides a searchable database Refers to databases on the Web that are searchable by typing in a query. The term is quite redundant because all databases are searchable. In fact, that is one of their major features.  of the best evidence, prerated for methodological quality by research staff who review every issue of over 100 clinical journals, and then rated for clinical relevance and interest by at least three members of a wordwide panel. The service also includes an e-mail alerting system in which users are invited to register their interests so they can receive e-mail alerts matched to their personal clinical interests. You can check out bmjupdates+ at www.bmjupdates.com.

We are looking to expand bmjupdates+ to include relevance and interest ratings by practising nurses, nursing tutors, and nurse managers. As a first step, we would like to invite interested nurses to join us as sentinel readers to rate the clinical relevance of these high quality, hot-off-the-press studies in your own clinical specialty.
