Survey takers often break down their findings in various ways. A simple survey might report only what percentage of all Americans own at least one gun. But when a report breaks data down into various categories, a broader picture emerges.

The graphs This partial list of graphs contains definitions of graphs and graph families which are known by particular names, but do not have a Wikipedia article of their own.

For collected definitions of graph theory terms that do not refer to individual graph types, such as
 below shows just a few of the ways data from a single survey may be broken down. Study them, then answer the questions that follow.</p>

"Don't know the trade." A Street expression used whenever one party lacks knowledge of a trade or receives conflicting instructions from the other party.
