NuMED Home Health Care, Inc. reports financial results for first quarter fiscal 1997.


INDEPENDENCE, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 1996--NuMED Home Health Care, Inc. ("NuMED") (Nasdaq/Small Cap: "NUMD" & "NUMDW") announced today its first quarter fiscal 1997 results.

Net revenues for the three months ended June 30, 1996 increased by 16% or $898,000 to $6,424,675 from $5,526,192 in the same period one year ago. Despite the increase in net revenues, the Company experienced a net loss of $154,228, or $.03 per share for the first quarter as compared to net income of $72,794, or $.01 per share, for the same period one year ago.
