Nozzle line grows to handle tougher jobs.

The Value Shot Z202 series of hot-runner nozzles from Hasco America Inc., Arden, N.C., has been extended with new sizes, tip geometry, heaters, and accessories. The upgrades allow the nozzles to be used with tighter pitches and deep gate locations. New tip geometry and machining tolerances provide gate diameters as small as 0.6 mm. There are nine additional nozzle lengths from 50 to 250 mm and three new diameters of 25, 32, and 45 mm.

Hasco also offers a new open tip of thermally conductive copper, cobalt, and beryllium (CuCoBe) as an option. A new three-aperture tip made from a special wear-resistant molybdenum alloy reportedly provides good heat conductivity.

The Value Shot line now also seals the melt chamber with a cap made from MurSeal, a flexible and heat-resistant plastic produced exclusively for Hasco by MurSeal of Germany. Its flexibility compensates for thermal expansion and contraction. Tel: [phone]. * www.hasco.com
