Now Available Panorama + Support for Cygnet's id100 Puts Users in Driver's Seat.

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 28, 1998--Cygnet Storage Solutions, Inc., announced today exclusive availability of the Panorama family of software with July 1998 shipments of the Cygnet id100(TM) CD Library.

The award winning products, originally developed by Elms Systems, comprise Panorama and Panorama + CD management and recording software acclaimed for versatility and efficiency in fully utilizing the features of the id100(TM) jukebox.

Panorama is a sophisticated yet extremely intuitive package, which simplifies data archival and retrieval to the point of turning a usually trying task into a gratifying experience. It is Windows 95 and NT WS compatible and has easy-to-use drag and drop features. The versatile id100(TM) can hold five magazines at any one time and, powered by Panorama, can label and track discs in up to 250 interchangeable magazines -- 5,000 CDs, giving the user rapid access to 3.2 terabytes of data.

It handles up to 100 CDs on-line at one time and, in addition, it enables the user to explore the content database for all CDs, on or off-line. Other features include user definable fields with embedded database capabilities to identify CDs and files, Auto Run to define a default program and working directory for each CD.

Panorama + inherits all of these advanced CD management characteristics and many more. On top of them it adds features that give the user the ability to create CDs one at a time, perform unattended CD mastering of up to 100 CDs with results logging and save both single and batch jobs. Panorama + turns Cygnet's id100(TM) into a highly reliable automated CD production system, the right solution for in-house CD duplication jobs as well as data and software distribution for business of all sizes and types.
