November 2006.I have been reading the November 2006 issue of Catholic Insight. Superb as usual. Two comments: In a letter, one reader, Bernard Ber·nard , Claude 1813-1878. French physiologist noted for his study of the digestive and nervous systems. McGuire (p. 4), inquired about a letter I had written. He might like to know that Catalina Rivas has a website, www.greatcrusade.org. The book I referred to in the letter is The Great Crusade This article is about an event in the fictional Warhammer 40,000 universe. For crusades in the real world, see Crusade. The Great Crusade is a historical period in the fictional Warhammer 40,000 universe, lasting from the late 30th to early 31st millennia of Love. The quote that I noted in the letter came from CL-159 in that book. Also, Paula Adamick, in her interesting article (p. 8), mentioned teenage girls with baby pacifiers. I understand girls take certain drugs in clubs and elsewhere that cause their teeth to chatter Chatter See: Whipsawed . They use pacifiers to stop the chattering chat·ter v. chat·tered, chat·ter·ing, chat·ters v.intr. 1. To talk rapidly, incessantly, and on trivial subjects; jabber. 2. . By showing the pacifiers, they may be advertising their practices and, possibly, availability. Markham, ON |
