Novell ships Open Enterprise Server.


Novell has announced that Novell Open Enterprise Server Novell Open Enterprise Server (OES) is the successor product to Novell, Inc. NetWare, and is a NOS, or network operating system. Originally released in March of 2005, the current release is OES 2.  is now available to customers worldwide. Open Enterprise Server is a secure and reliable suite of services that combines NetWare and SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) is a Linux distribution supplied by Novell, targeted at the business market. It is targeted for servers, but can be installed on Desktop computers for testing as well. New versions are released at an interval of 18-24 months.  to deliver proven file, print, directory, management, collaboration and application services See ASP and Web services. . As a result, customers benefit from leading commercial and open source networking platforms along with integrated management tools, identity-based services and Novell's global support ecosystem to meet enterprise-class computing needs.
