MicroAge also announced that it has rolled out its new MicroAge Software Licensing Certification Program, the first of its kind in the industry.

As a Novell MLA Fulfillment Partner, MicroAge is pre-approved to offer software distribution, license tracking, reporting, billing, and collection services to Novell's largest customers.

"This is a great opportunity for both organizations," said MicroAge Channel Services President Wes Richards. "We have the opportunity to work with Novell in providing software services to its biggest and best customers. By the same token, Novell can leverage our extensive MicroAge Software Products Group to deliver such services as master disk fulfillment, invoicing and client reporting."

MicroAge's successful marketing and implementation of the Novell Corporate License Agreement (CLA CLA,

) coupled with existing large account relationships through MicroAge Infosystems Services -- MicroAge's large account division -- were key factors in its selection as an MLA provider.

"We are pleased to welcome MicroAge as the first MLA Fulfillment Agent to be approved under the new MLA channel participation structure," said Terry Haas, Novell's vice president of channel sales and marketing. "We recognized the value MicroAge could offer the MLA program through its extensive software and large account capabilities."

MicroAge resellers can also participate in the MLA program as "sales partners." Working with their regional Novell office, resellers establish pre- and post-sales activities to grow Novell sales within MLA accounts. They then earn commissions for meeting sales objectives.

"I'm pleased about the opportunities for our Novell resellers, who can really capitalize on Cap´i`tal`ize on`
