* For exterior trim and panels of earth-moving and materials-handling vehicles (photo), Spartech offers Formalloy HB. For example, a TPO suffix at the end of 3com Ethernet adapter model numbers indicates the card has only an RJ45 connector.  sheet comes in both monolayer mon·o·lay·er

1. A film or layer one molecule thick formed at the interface between water and either oil or air by a substance such as a partially esterified fatty acid that contains both hydrophobic and hydrophilic groups in the same
and coextruded versions, the latter including a high-gloss TPO capstock layer. The sheets are tough and chemical resistant, and they reportedly overcome the forming difficulties common with TPO materials.

* New for thermoformed signage is Tuf-Glas CR, a monolayer modified-acrylic sheet. It is said to offer high clarity and excellent resistance to crazing, scratches, and chemicals. It also boasts higher toughness and surface hardness than general-purpose acrylic.

* Solarex K is a high-heat monolayer copolyester sheet for automotive aftermarket parts, displays, and signage. Described as a "PETG-like" material, its cost-performance is between those of general-purpose acrylic and PC. Benefits include high toughness, uv and chemical resistance, and easy processing.
