Dear editor,

Re: Confused about communion communion: see Eucharist; Lord's Supper.  (April letters), in which Canon Gordon Baker wondered, "Could it be a case of holy schizophrenia schizophrenia (skĭt'səfrē`nēə), group of severe mental disorders characterized by reality distortions resulting in unusual thought patterns and behaviors. ?"

 against mental illness, you must be made aware that schizophrenia is not a split personality, but a split from reality. Schizophrenia is biological chemicals in the brain not giving proper signals. Certainly it is not catching.
