Not quite home alone.


Two roommates in Hampton, Virginia Hampton is an independent city in Virginia, and therefore not part of any Virginia county. One of the Seven Cities of Hampton Roads, it is on the southeast end of the Virginia Peninsula, bordering on Hampton Roads and Chesapeake Bay.

As of the 2000 U.S.
, got a nasty surprise on February 21 when two strangers burst into their residence, holding guns and demanding money. The robbers, Demarcus Wade and Clifton Jordon, entered the house and immediately confronted one of the occupants, Timothy Page.

Page said to the Daily Press, "They told me to hit the floor, so I hit the floor." When the robbers demanded money from Page, however, he told them he didn't know where there was any. Wade and Jordon then went to another room to strong-arm the other roommate who was home, Robert Outlaw, to get some money. When Outlaw couldn't provide any money either, one robber shot at Outlaw, and then they again went to Page to press him for money.

 wounded and the other had fled. Outlaw had a bullet wound to his chest. Outlaw's roommate, Page, attempted to drive him to a hospital, but their intended destination had gone out of business. Forty-five minutes later, the two called authorities for help. A rescue vehicle got Outlaw to a nearby hospital.

Three people have been arrested in connection to the case: Demarcus Wade, Ineen Robinson, and Michael Williams Michael Williams may refer to:

. The latter two waited outside in a vehicle while Wade and Jordon made the robbery attempt. Police learned that Robinson had known Outlaw and had led the robbers to the location to stage the robbery. The three were charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit a felony felony (fĕl`ənē), any grave crime, in contrast to a misdemeanor, that is so declared in statute or was so considered in common law. , and use of a firearm firearm, device consisting essentially of a straight tube to propel shot, shell, or bullets by the explosion of gunpowder. Although the Chinese discovered gunpowder as early as the 9th cent., they did not develop firearms until the mid-14th cent.  in the commission of a felony.
