Not always the classiest, but classics.

Byline: BUZZWORTHY by The Register-Guard

This week is shaping up to be a classic.

Start with `Troy,' the $200 million epic based on no less a masterpiece than Homer's `The Iliad.' OK, so Roger Ebert says the movie is a farce that sinks a thousand Hollywood ships, but if it's spectacle you're after - or Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom Orlando Jonathan Blanchard Bloom[1] (born 13 January 1977) is an English actor. He had his break-through role in the early 2000s as the elf-prince Legolas in The Lord of the Rings[2] and blacksmith Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean  in shiny breastplates - look no further than Cinema World or Cinemark starting today.

Size will matter as well when the Eugene Symphony The Eugene Symphony is an American orchestra based in Eugene, Oregon. Its home venue is the Silva Concert Hall at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts.

A local classic, retiring UO theater director Bob Barton, will take his curtain call with William Shakespeare's `Much Ado About Nothing Much Ado About Nothing is a comedy by William Shakespeare. Barton has set the vintage comedy to a Latin beat.

Latin beats also will be the order of the day in the Jungle at 8 p.m. Tuesday when Ozomatli drops in from East L.A. Everybody's favorite hip-hop/funk marching band will release an album next month, so expect a preview.

The Newfoundlanders are known to pop open such Celtic chestnuts as `John Barbour' and `Chafe's Celidh,' but their new CD, `Something Beautiful,' features 10 original tunes as well.

Finally, history will be served from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday as the Mount Pisgah Arboretum The Mount Pisgah Arboretum (85 ha / 209 acres) is a non-profit arboretum and botanical garden located within the Howard Buford Recreation Area (930 ha / 2,300 acre), between the Coast Fork of the Willamette River and the slopes of Mount Pisgah near Eugene-Springfield, Oregon,  Wildflower wildflower
