Northwest FASD research network created.


EDMONTON -- The Canada Northwest Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) describes a continuum of permanent birth defects caused by maternal consumption of alcohol during pregnancy, which includes, but is not limited to Fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS).  Partnership has created a network to promote research of FASD FASD Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder

FASD Florida Association for Staff Development
FASD Finnish Association of Sports for the Disabled
FASD Finnish Association of Securities Dealers
 and to disseminate and share findings with stakeholders Stakeholders

All parties that have an interest, financial or otherwise, in a firm-stockholders, creditors, bondholders, employees, customers, management, the community, and the government.

Fifteen experts from Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, B.C., the Yukon, the Northwest Territories Northwest Territories, territory (2001 pop. 37,360), 532,643 sq mi (1,379,028 sq km), NW Canada. The Northwest Territories lie W of Nunavut, N of lat. 60°N, and E of Yukon.  and Nunavut make up the board that will oversee the research network's strategic direction. The expert includes medical researchers, experts in aboriginal health and social workers.

The Canada Northwest Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Partnership was created in 1998 and is an alliance of seven jurisdictions that work towards the development and promotion of an interprovincial/territorial approach to prevention, intervention, care and support of individuals affected by FASD. The partnership has been in place since 1998.
