     Natural Resources                          424.16, down 2.39%
     Finance/Insurance                          580.44, down 2.94%
     Utilities                                  230.55, down 1.18%


Of the 50 stocks in the Index, 21 were up during the week, while 29 declined. -0-

Gainers included SEQUENT (Sequent Computer Systems, Inc., Beaverton, OR, www.sequent.com) A computer company founded in 1983 by 17 ex-employees of Intel that specialized in multiprocessing systems for the client/server environment.  COMPUTER., up 2-1/2 at 12-7/16; NORDSTROM Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) is an upscale department store chain in the United States which was initially a shoe retailer, the company today also sells clothing, accessories, handbags, jewelry, cosmetics, fragrance, and home furnishings. , up 4 at 34-5/8; and ELECTRO SCIENTIFIC INDS INDS Interstate National Dealer Services (Uniondale, New York) , up 3-3/8 at 29-5/8.

Decliners included STARBUCKS, down 6 at 42-15/16; VISIO A drawing and diagramming program for Windows from Microsoft that includes a variety of pre-drawn shapes and picture elements that can be dragged and dropped onto the illustration.
