Northrop Grumman.
Northrop Grumman has received a US Army follow-on contract to a
system engineering, integration and installation support award for the
Counter-Rocket, Artillery, Mortar (C-Ram) programme. The $ 71 million
award covers the support work, which is expected to be completed by
September 2008, on the C-Ram, which uses sensor, command and control and
visualisation tools to detect incoming threats and provide warnings to
exposed soldiers. The system simultaneously provides correlated track
data to associated intercept systems.
