Northrop Grumman has received an order to supply its Directional Infrared Countermeasures (Dircm) system for the Royal Australian Air Force's next-generation fleet of A330 multi-role tanker transports. The $ 24 million award (with Eads-Casa as prime contractor) will see deliveries of the Northrop Grumman Nemesis Dircm to begin in January 2007.
