 Holding Corp., announced the appointment of Steven M. Klein as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Klein was formerly an audit partner with the international accounting and auditing firm KPMG KPMG Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (accounting firm)

 LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol . He served a wide variety of banking industry clients in the more than 18 years with KPMG primarily in their Short Hills, New Jersey practice.

Mr. Klein brings to Northfield not only a strong accounting and financial background, but also a keen understanding of the banking industry," said Alexander. "As Chief Financial Officer, he will play a vital role in the growth and future successes of our organization."

Mr. Klein is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants With over 330,525 CPA members (in August 2006), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) is the largest professional organization of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) in the United States of America. , New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey League of Community Bankers, and America's Community Bankers. He has also developed and executed national training courses in financial services related topics for industry professionals.
