Northfield names new CFO.

John W. Alexander, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Northfield Savings Bank, parent of Liberty Bank and the principal operating subsidiary of NSB Holding Corp., announced the appointment of Steven M. Klein as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Klein was formerly an audit partner with the international accounting and auditing firm KPMG LLP. He served a wide variety of banking industry clients in the more than 18 years with KPMG primarily in their Short Hills, New Jersey practice.

"We are fortunate to have an individual with the experience and leadership skills that Mr. Klein has demonstrated throughout his career joining Northfield Savings Bank. Mr. Klein brings to Northfield not only a strong accounting and financial background, but also a keen understanding of the banking industry," said Alexander. "As Chief Financial Officer, he will play a vital role in the growth and future successes of our organization."

Mr. Klein is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey League of Community Bankers, and America's Community Bankers. He has also developed and executed national training courses in financial services related topics for industry professionals.

Steve is a graduate of Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He resides in Howell, New Jersey with his wife and four children.
