Northeast Utilities signs corporate deal with Alpharel's European group, Trimco.


SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 31, 1996--Alpharel (NASDAQ/NMS:AREL AREL Acute Reference Exposure Level (EPA) ) Wednesday announced an agreement between Northeast Utilities Northeast Utilities (NU) is a publicly-traded, Fortune 500 energy company headquartered in Berlin, Connecticut, with several regulated subsidiaries offering retail electricity and natural gas service to more than 2 million customers in New England.  and Alpharel's European group, Trimco Enterprises.

The agreement makes Trimco's electronic document management software (EDMS (Electronic Document Management System or Enterprise Document Management System ) See document management.

Northeast Utilities is a major utility based in Hartford, Conn. The first Trimco system will be installed at the Seabrook Nuclear Plant in New Hampshire New Hampshire, one of the New England states of the NE United States. The initial installation will be integrated into Northeast Utilities' existing INDUS system, which is a plant management package that holds document information for user distribution.
