InnoPet Brands Corp. (Nasdaq SmallCap: INBC INBC International Narcotic Control Board ) today announced that InnoPet Veterinarian Formula(TM) pet foods have been selected by the North Shore Animal League, Inc. ("NSAL NSAL North Shore Animal League

") and The Pet Savers Foundation, Inc. ("PSF") as the sole pet food products to be used and recommended by those organizations, an endorsement formerly held by The Iams Company.

NSAL owns and operates the world's largest not-for-profit adoption agency and veterinarian hospital for dogs and cats on Long Island, New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
. PSF is a Long Island-based not-for-profit corporation that promotes the advancement of the well being of dogs and cats around the world. Currently, there are approximately 6,000 animal welfare organizations across the country representing up to 4 million new pet owners each year. NSAL and PSF life-saving programs have united over 1,000 of these shelters, and their goal is to unite all of them with this innovative InnoPet partnership.

Beginning June 1, 1997, PSF's affiliated shelters can become authorized retailers, selling only InnoPet Veterinarian Formula pet foods. Additionally, along with an official endorsement by NSAL and PSF, a sample of InnoPet Veterinarian Formula will be given to each person adopting a pet, along with discount coupons for future purchases of InnoPet Veterinarian Formula products, nutritional education information, and promotional material.
