North Bay to issue RFP for potential wind park development.


With Ontario on the eve On the Eve (Накануне in Russian) is the third novel by famous Russian writer Ivan Turgenev, best known for his short stories and the novel Fathers and Sons.  of a green-energy revolution, the City of North Bay is joining the ranks of communities exploring the full potential of wind-generated electricity.

The municipality has received a $50,000-grant from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities' Green Municipal Funds to make its first steps towards investigating development of a large-scale wind park.

The funds will be allocated towards their feasibility study The analysis of a problem to determine if it can be solved effectively. The operational (will it work?), economical (costs and benefits) and technical (can it be built?) aspects are part of the study.
