, is said to be North America's largest manufacturer of high purity zinc dusts and the largest independent zinc alloy producer in Canada. North American Oxide is said to be North America's newest manufacturer of zinc oxides zinc oxide, chemical compound, ZnO, that is nearly insoluble in water but soluble in acids or alkalies. It occurs as white hexagonal crystals or a white powder commonly known as zinc white. . Their environmentally designed plant, located in Clarksville, TN, started the production of high quality zinc oxides in June of 1990.
