 Alloys has announced that Steven Meredith has joined the company as director of sales. Meredith previously worked for 11 years in the copper industry with Asarco Inc. and 16 years in the titanium titanium (tītā`nēəm, tĭ–) [from Titan], metallic chemical element; symbol Ti; at. no. 22; at. wt. 47.88; m.p. 1,675°C;; b.p. 3,260°C;; sp. gr. 4.54 at 20°C;; valence +2, +3, or +4.  industry with Sandvik Special Metals Corp. and Titanium Sports LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.

Meredith, who has degrees in metallurgical met·al·lur·gy  
n.
1. The science that deals with procedures used in extracting metals from their ores, purifying and alloying metals, and creating useful objects from metals.

2.
 engineering from the University of Washington and 27 years of experience in the metals industry, has published numerous technical papers on titanium, holds five U.S. patents on titanium-related inventions and co-authored the "Ti-3AI-2.5V Seamless Tubing Engineering Guide."

Additionally, Meredith has visited and worked with titanium mills throughout the world, including those in Russia, China and Sweden. He will work out of his current office in Kennewick, Wash., buying and selling titanium and nickel-based alloys.
