NADCA North American Draft Cross Association, Inc ), Rosemont, Illinois, announced the winners of its 2001 International Die Casting Competition. Winners were awarded in eight different categories: aluminum (squeeze/semi-solid), aluminum (less than 1 lb), aluminum (1-10 lb), aluminum (more than 10 lb), magnesium (less than 0.5 lb), magnesium (more than 0.5 lb), zinc (less than 6 oz/non-electroplated) and zinc (any size coated).
This year's winners were:
Aluminum (squeeze/semi-solid)-an independent rear suspension casting by SPX (Sequenced Packet EXchange) The transport layer protocol in the NetWare operating system.
