Business Editors/Hi-Tech Writers

VIENNA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 13, 2002

Norstan Inc, a leading provider of communications technology solutions, announced that it has selected Foxcom Wireless as a key technology partner.

Foxcom Wireless, a leading provider of distributed antenna systems (DAS), enables seamless wireless connectivity in buildings for all wireless devices including mobile phones, personal digital assistants, WLAN enabled laptops, and VOIP handsets.

Norstan's enterprise mobility practice targets its solutions at the campus-wide mobile communication needs of its corporate customers across North America.

Norstan, a turnkey enterprise communications solution provider, offers campus-wide, integrated wireless infrastructure and communication solutions uniquely designed for higher education, the healthcare industry, and large enterprise campuses.

Foxcom's ModuLite(TM) system supports multiple wireless operators and services over a single common infrastructure. The ModuLite(TM) system also offers a common, remotely managed infrastructure. It is designed to keep all active network components centrally located in a controlled environment, with only passive broadband antennas located in public spaces.

The system provides efficient capacity allocation throughout buildings, while enabling cost effective coverage for multiple wireless services.

"The addition of Foxcom to our list of industry-leading technology partners solidifies Norstan's position as a turnkey provider in enterprise mobility," said Larry J. Schmidt, Norstan's Executive Vice President of Technology Direct Solutions. "This development should provide Norstan with additional sales opportunities as we add the advantages offered by Foxcom's system to our individually designed communications technology solutions and our legendary customer service."

"Working with certified Value Added Resellers such as Norstan is an excellent way for us to cultivate business in valuable vertical markets," states Cathy Zatloukal, President of Foxcom Wireless. "Norstan, through their rich customer relationships with corporate enterprises, universities and hospitals, enjoys strong positioning within each of these vertical markets. Foxcom will benefit from these existing alliances as well as enable new relationships through successful collaboration with Norstan."
