Norma Tempel President, Etched In Stone Waterjet Fabrications.
The founder of Etched In Stone Waterjet Fabrications, Inc., (EIS) of South Hackensack, NJ, and of Professional Women in Construction's New Jersey chapter, PWC-NJ, Norma Tempel is carving a name for herself in the industry. She recently announced several NJ projects: EIS has completed work as second tier subcontractor fabricating the stone counters, bars, wall cladding and base at The Watermark, a major new condominium project in North Bergen; and is working on a large medallion for the Livingston Mall and creating flooring and a fountain for the Freehold Mall. Tempel is supplying materials for the new Goldman Sachs headquarters in Lower Manhattan, and has most recently performed work for the Riverside in Manhattan, and the new executive conference center at IBM's world headquarters in Armonk, NY. Past EIS projects include the Westin Time Square Hotel; UBS headquarters in New York City; Cingular Wireless headquarters lobby in Woodbridge, N J; and two of the lobby floors at Newport Developers (Lefrak Organization) Towers of America, in Jersey City. She was named Business Woman of the Year in 2005 by the Bergen County chapter of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO).
