Norland Medical Systems, Inc. announces agreement with Rockford Industries to underwrite Norland's new finance arm.


WHITE PLAINS, NY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--September 25, 1996--NORLAND MEDICAL SYSTEMS, INC inc - /ink/ increment, i.e. increase by one. Especially used by assembly programmers, as many assembly languages have an "inc" mnemonic.

. (Nasdaq NM Symbol: NRLD) announced today that it has signed an agreement with Rockford Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq NM Symbol: ROCF ROCF Rosicrucian Order Crotona Fellowship ) whereby Rockford will underwrite and manage Norland Capital, a new program created by Norland to offer "one-stop financing" to its U.S. customers seeking financing for the purchase of Norland bone densitometers. Financial products available to Norland customers will include customized leasing, financing and Cost Per Test services with no money down. Rockford will administer the various programs and assume all potential credit risks.
