Nonprofit expands Ground Zero support to workers.

 needs of the families of 9/11, announced the launch of a broad new initiative, expanding beyond the victims' families to help all Ground Zero rescue and recovery workers who need ongoing support. The new initiative is called Tuesday's Champions.

"Six years later, as the families of 9/11 have found strength and courage--much of which we owe to their work--it is our turn to give back, and make sure that all rescue workers get the support they need," Calzonetti continued. "Building on our successful model of serving families, we will follow the same approach in helping the heroes regain their momentum in life."

Tuesday's Champions will help guide all who gave their all following 9/11 along the path to a stronger, healthier future. The services will be available to construction workers, iron workers, Salvation Army Salvation Army, Protestant denomination and international nonsectarian Christian organization for evangelical and philanthropic work.
