The APV Mixing Valve has a spiral mixing chamber and barrier flights that minimize the amount of unmelted particles while delivering dispersive dispersive /dis·per·sive/ (-per´siv) 1. tending to become dispersed. 2. promoting dispersion. and distributive dis·trib·u·tive adj. 1. a. When added to an existing general-purpose screw, the valve reportedly can allow for shorter recovery times while improving color dispersion and melt homogeneity.
