The Citation Citation

(foaled 1945) U.S. Thoroughbred racehorse. In four seasons he won 32 of 45 races, finished second in ten, and third in two. He won the 1948 Triple Crown, and became the first horse to win $1 million. He set a world record in 1950 by running a mile in 1:33 3/5.
II Series non-contact infrared thermometer Infrared thermometers measure temperature using blackbody radiation (generally infrared) emitted from objects. They are sometimes called laser thermometers if a laser is used to help aim the thermometer, or non-contact thermometers  with advanced optics and electro-optical circuit design is capable of sensing target temperatures from 50-3,000[degrees]C, with target spot sizes as small as 1 mm in diameter, and with fast response times up to 50 milliseconds. This unit is available in a variety of wavelengths and offers features so that it can operate in laboratory and university settings, as well as hostile operating environments In computing, an operating environment is the environment in which users run programs, whether in a command line interface, such as in MS-DOS or the Unix shell, or in a graphical user interface, such as in the Macintosh operating system.  found in production and heavy industry use.

Each Citation system consists of two separate modular units, an optical head, or sensor A device that measures or detects a real-world condition, such as motion, heat or light and converts the condition into an analog or digital representation. An optical sensor detects the intensity or brightness of light, or the intensity of red, green and blue for color systems. , and an electronics signal processor/ computer. The two items are connected together by an instrument cable, to complete the instrument package. The optical head is available in two different types, the reflex head or the laser sight aiming.
