A new HALS stabilizer stabilizer: see airplane.  for TPO (Twisted Pair Only) Refers to the use of twisted pair wire when other options are available. For example, a TPO suffix at the end of 3com Ethernet adapter model numbers indicates the card has only an RJ45 connector.  and PP copolymers is said to provide two to three times as much uv protection as competitive products at the same loading levels and comparable cost.  7001 is the fourth product in a new family of THT triazine-based, high- molecular-weight polymeric HALS first launched in 2001 by Cytec Industries, West Paterson, N.J.

Introduced at the recent SPE SPE - Software Practice and Experience  Polyolefins 2003 conference in Houston, THT 7001 is a "paintable" non-fogging HALS that is said to be well suited for use in automotive applications. It does not bloom, nor does it interact with acid-based coatings, according to Cytec officials. It also boasts low interaction with halogenated halogenated

SAE J1885 automotive accelerated-weathering specifications call for 1200 kJ of uv energy exposure, which is comparable to less than a year outdoors. Cytec reports that tests of TPO containing 0.15% to 0.2% of Cyasorb THT 7001 showed good protection at up to 10,000 kJ. Tel: (973) 357-3319, www.cytec.com
