Non-Member Early Notification Program for Conferences, Courses, and Seminars.

In order to better serve the educational needs of Institute members and their staffs, TEI has created and will maintain a mailing list of non-members who have expressed interest in receiving information on TEI's continuing education programs. Notices will initially be delivered by e-mail.

Non-members who would like to be added to the list should contact the national office to take advantage of this free service. "By expanding the reach of our notification, we can ensure the timely delivery of the information to tax department personnel who aren't members, but who report to or work for a member," said TEI President Lester D. Ezrati, General Tax Counsel for Hewlett-Packard Company and former chair of TEI's Continuing Education Committee. "Business Guests will still have to meet the eligibility requirements and be sponsored by a TEI member in order to attend an Institute continuing education program, we can help them get a jump on making arrangements. We see this as an excellent way to showcase what we believe are the best educational programs available to the corporate tax professional."

Approximately eight weeks before each conference, course, and seminar, TEI mails out an information package that contains details on topics to be covered, featured speakers, fees, hotel accommodations, and complete registration materials.

Please be sure to include your e-mail address in order to receive special time-sensitive information on the Institute's programs, including TEI's new telephone seminars. These seminars cover breaking tax issues and feature top corporate tax practitioners. Most recently, TEI held a phone seminar on the research and development (R&D) credit.

To receive information about TEI programs, please make a copy of the accompanying form, fill it out completely, and submit it to TEI. Information provided will not be made available to any outside group or organization.
