Pistilli Women in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Achievement Award that recognizes individuals who have visibly helped advance women in the EDA industry. To be considered, an individual should have been responsible for the launch or management of a successful product that included contributions from women or a program that has created opportunities for women. Or, the individual could be the leader of a company or organization that helps raise the awareness of women or someone who has been a mentor Mentor, in Greek mythology Mentor (mĕn`tər, –tôr'), in Greek mythology, friend of Odysseus and tutor of Telemachus. or role model for successful women. Now in its eighth year, the award is named for Marie R. Pistilli, the former organizer of the Design Automation Conference (DAC See D/A converter and discretionary access control. DAC - Digital to Analog Converter ). The award is open to both men and women with technical or non-technical backgrounds in industry or academia.
