No laughing matter.

As an attorney who practices in the birthplace of the Constitution, I am keenly aware of the the First Amendment protections for a free and vigorous press. However, the legality of offensive comments does not mean that a magazine is justified in printing them. In your recent interview with Tina Fey Elizabeth Stamatina "Tina" Fey (born May 18, 1970) is an Emmy-winning American writer, comedian and actress. Fey currently co-produces, writes and stars in the television program 30 Rock, a sitcom loosely based on her experiences at Saturday Night Live.  [Big Gay Following, April 26], she ascribes the following imaginary quote to Pope John Paul II Pope John Paul II (Latin: Ioannes Paulus PP. II, Italian: Giovanni Paolo II, Polish: Jan Paweł II) born Karol Józef Wojtyła  : "I invented homophobia homophobia Psychology An irrationally negative attitude toward those with homosexual orientation, or toward becoming homosexual. See Closet, Gay-bashing, Heterosexism. Cf Gay, Homosexual, Phobia. ." Excuse me if I don't chuckle; this quote appeared the week after the pope had passed away. Both your editing and your choice of interview subjects leave a lot to be desired. While attacking others for bigotry Bigotry
