Nitrochemie has signed a long-term strategic alliance with Denel Land Systems of South Africa South Africa, Afrikaans Suid-Afrika, officially Republic of South Africa, republic (2005 est. pop. 44,344,000), 471,442 sq mi (1,221,037 sq km), S Africa. . This co-operative agreement will focus on the development of improved modular propelling charges for 105 and 155 mm artillery systems, with the first jointly-produced product expected to be ready for qualification in 2006.
