The 'SATAStar' Series brings two new host adapters, a PCI-Express FireWire 800/1394b and a FireWire 800/1394b & USBv2.0 Combo Host Adapter. Both PCI Express cards support one-lane (1x) up to 2.5Gbps PCI-e specification and are compatible with all the latest operating systems (Apple Macintosh OSX, Microsoft Windows and Linux). The cards are fully compliant with PCI Express (PCIe) and can be utilized in 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x, or 16x lane PCIe slots. As all FireWire 800/1394b and USB v2.0 cards from NitroAV, they are backwards compatible with standard FireWire 400/1394a and USB v1.1 standards.
