Nissan to Continue OEM Supply of AD Van to Mazda.

) - Nissan Motor and Mazda Motor announced on January 27 that the companies have signed an agreement under which Nissan will continue to supply Mazda light commercial vehicles (LCVs) on an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  basis.

Familia ("The Family," from the Romain familia
 Van. Nissan has shipped about 3,000 units to Mazda annually. Conversely, Mazda has OEM-supplied Nissan with about 23,000 units of the Bongo Van/Truck since 1994.

Under the agreement terms, Nissan will supply Mazda with an LCV based on a next-generation version of the AD Van beginning in the second half of 2006.
