Nippon Express USA leases 146,200 sf in Hudson County.

Jacobson, Goldfarb & Tanzman Associates (JGT), the Woodbridge-based commercial real estate firm, recently arranged for Nippon Express USA, Inc. to lease 146,200 square feet of industrial space in Hudson County.

Mark Harris, a JGT senior vice president, announced the transaction.

JGT Vice President Alan Rosenberg and Assistant Vice President Richard Madison arranged-for Nippon Express to lease the industrial space at 60/70 Seaview Drive in Secaucus, New Jersey. Owned by TCW Realty Advisors, the 60/70 Seaview Drive Industrial building also met Nippon Express' structural requirements with tailgate loading and twenty-four foot clear ceilings. Assisted by Preferred Industrial Properties, who represented the landlord, JGT acted as tenant representative in negotiating the transaction.

In addition to the Nippon Express transaction, the JGT team of Madison and Rosenberg have negotiated other major industrial deals for JGT. They are responsible for the lease of 335,000 square feet of industrial space to Donna Karan Company in the Meadowlands. In the past 12 months, they have leased in excess of 600,000 square feet of space in the Meadowlands.
