It grew out of a U.S. Defense Department program called ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network), established in 1969 with connections between computers at the . Specifically, the new system will collect vital data including blood pressure and weight, and automatically forward it to the server managed by the company. Then the university will analyze the collected data and provide advice and feedback to the subjects.
