Nikon Ships Nikon Scan 1.6 For Microsoft Windows NT.


MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 1, 1997--Enhancing its reputation for high-quality desktop scanning solutions, Nikon today announced a new Microsoft Windows(TM) NT compliant version of its popular, award-winning Nikon Scan(TM) software. The new version, Nikon Scan 1.6, will be made available at no charge through Nikon's Technical Support Website (www.nikon-euro.com/support). Nikon Scan 1.6 software, which will also ship on a Nikon CD, is designed as a quick install for all the components needed to operate the full line of Nikon's award winning 35 mm film and flatbed scanners (LS-1000, LS-20, LS-4500, AX-110, AX-210), as well as the Nikon SF-100 slide loader.

Nikon Scan 1.6 provides Windows NT users with increased efficiency and convenience when scanning and archiving their images. It also allows Windows NT 4.0 workstations the ability to resize Verb 1. resize - change the size of; make the size more appropriate
