Announced June 14, the BioStation CT enables a stable and safe cultivation of cells and facilitates quality control. The BioStation IM, which provides video images of cell activities, is suitable for time-lapse imaging of cultured cells. Nikon aims to reinforce its bio-related business with the new products. The new systems will be exhibited at the 20th IUBMB IUBMB International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology International Congress of Biochemistry biochemistry, science concerned chiefly with the chemistry of biological processes; it attempts to utilize the tools and concepts of chemistry, particularly organic and physical chemistry, for elucidation of the living system. and Molecular Biology molecular biology, scientific study of the molecular basis of life processes, including cellular respiration, excretion, and reproduction.
