Tokyo, Japan, July 29, 2005 - (JCNN JCNN Japan Corporate News Network ) - Nihon Medi-Physics announced on July 27 that it has received approval to manufacture FDG FDG Fluorodeoxyglucose FDG Fundação de Desenvolvimento Gerencial FDG Franchise Development Group FDG Function Dependence Graph FDG Fraud Detection Group FDG Functional Dependency Gate FDG Front des Gaulois FDG Falling Down Giggling Scan Injection (fludeoxyglucose F-18), its proprietary radiopharmaceutical used in positron emission tomography positron emission tomography: see PET scan. positron emission tomography (PET)
Imaging technique used in diagnosis and biomedical research. (PET), from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. The new agent is the first PET agent that has been approved in Japan.
Nihon Medi-Physics will launch the product upon completion of the required procedures.
In addition, the company will market FDG Scan-MP Injection, a radiopharmaceutical offered by the Advanced Medical and Pharmaceutical Research Center in Ishikawa, a co-developer of FDG Scan Injection.
