 defibrillators, the biophasic cousins can deliver the shock to the heart muscle with less energy so they can reduce the damage on heart.

The TEC-7700 series, which features four models priced from 1,450,000 yen ($12,000) to 2,700,000 yen ($22,600), is designed for use in emergency rooms, operation rooms, ICUs and CCUs.

The TEC-2300 series, which includes two models priced from 2,020,000 yen ($16,900) and 2,220,000 yen ($18,600), respectively, is inteded for use in ambulance cars and outside.

The company aims to sell more than 3,000 units in total over the next three years.
