Nighthawk Systems to Participate in Denver Light Rail Expansion; Signs to be Remotely Controlled Using Nighthawk Technology.

SAN ANTONIO -- Nighthawk Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:NIHK), a leading provider of intelligent wireless power control products, announced today that Dynalectric Colorado has issued a letter of intent to Nighthawk Systems for the purchase of forty PT 1000 remote control boards. The PT 1000's will be used to remotely activate and control the messages on forty signs at various Light Rail stations as part of Denver's $1.67 billion Transportation Expansion ("T-REX") Project along the southeast corridor of Interstates 25 and 225.

Nighthawk Systems has previously provided remote control solutions for the Colorado Department of Transportation ("CDOT") as part of the T-REX project. These successful applications drew Dynalectric to Nighthawk Systems for help with activating and displaying messages on signs at various Light Rail stations from one central location. T-REX is a unique collaboration between CDOT and Denver's Regional Transportation District ("RTD"), the owner and operator of the Light Rail system.
