Nice package.
A Corvette corvette, small warship, classed between a frigate and a sloop-of-war. Corvettes usually were flush-decked and carried fewer than 28 guns. They were widely employed in escorting convoys and attacking merchant ships during the great naval wars of the late 18th and early 19th cent., but corvettes passed from use with the transition from sail to steam. wrapped in a Cadillac--sounds like something you'd dream while dozing off to the Speed Channel. But get behind the wheel of the Cadillac CTS-V, and you'll be wide awake. Skin-deep, this new bad boy is largely the same as the popular CTS, Cadillac's handsome four-door sedan. But the CTS-V's exterior barely contains its heart-stopping, aggressive Corvette performance. The 400-horsepower engine, six-speed manual gearbox, and drive train components are Corvette-derived. (Part of the thrill is checking the cool lateral-G-force meter to see how you're holding up One feature disconcerts: During light driving the transmission sometimes locks out second gear and drops you into fourth. This is meant to save gas, but it's not the kind of decision you want your car to make for you. Still, the CTS-V's hidden personality makes driving tons of fun. This may be the closest you ever come to piloting a Stealth bomber.
