Latest version of self-service middleware solution offers users

true multi-vendor support for transactional and operator functions

Nexus Software, Inc., a company specializing in open retail banking middleware, today announced the commercial availability of INvolve(TM) 3.0, the latest version of the company's self-service, multi-vendor, XFS-compliant middleware solution, which enables faster certifications and quicker time to market through simplified architecture and implementation to support XFS devices.

This latest version of INvolve features open ActiveXFS technology that simplifies installation and configuration of platform services and offers users true single XFS solution capability for multiple vendor ATM and kiosk networks. It is Windows 2000 and Windows NT compliant and COM+ ready. In addition, INvolve 3.0 provides transparent XFS2 and XFS3 standards support, the ability to customize operator functions (such as those that apply to settlement receipts, host communications and count updates), a TTU terminal manager baseline (an initial "ready-to-run" operator application, such as a self-test verification), and supports Microsoft.Net, Microsoft ActiveX, and Java Bean client development.

INvolve 3.0 is an integrated set of software components intended for use by retail banking OEMs, solutions providers and financial institution end customers to quickly create multi-vendor XFS-based solutions for the unattended self-service environment. XFS (eXtensions for Financial Services) is an open-architecture, industry standard format created to help banks solve peripheral device communication problems.
